Last saturday MEDPEOPLE was finally on the pages of IoDonna magazine. The pictures of MEDPEOPLE were used to illustrate a collection of short stories written by 8 women, each of them coming from one of the cities we’ve visited during the shooting of the project.

The authors are: Ghada Abdel Aal from Alexandria, Asma Gherib from Tangeri, Teresa Solana from Barcelona, Michèle Lesbre from Marseille, Valeria Parrella from Naples, Lena Kitsopoulou from Athens, Joumana Haddad from Beirut and Esmahan Aykol from Istanbul.

At the beginning we were sorry because they decided not to use Alberto’s texts. It’s a women’s magazine and they wanted to let women speak on their pages. I think the result is excellent, the layout is very nice and there are a lot of pictures published! Besides, the project got a lot of visibility; it is mentioned on the magazine, one of the most popular in Italy.  There’s also the web-edition of the magazine, you can check it here:

I am very pleased we’ve reached such results and visibility so quickly, now we’re working to bring it to as many people as possible and we’ll keep you posted!
